This page explains what information this website collects and who handles it.

Listening statistics

When you play music here, I save which track you heard, for how long and where on the site you started it, along with the time, language, country and device type. Plays get random IDs, so I can't recognize you on a later visit. I don't store your IP address or use cookies for this. The statistics are visible only to me and currently have no fixed deletion date.

Website statistics

I use Simple Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies.

Player settings

Your volume, mute, shuffle and repeat settings are saved in your browser so the player remembers them. They stay on your device.

YouTube videos

Some pages include YouTube videos. Videos on music pages use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but videos in news posts load from regular YouTube, which may set cookies and collect data under Google's privacy policy.

Contact forms

Messages sent through the contact and licensing forms are handled through Zendesk so that I can reply to you.

Services that handle data

This website is hosted by Vercel and stores data with Google Firebase. Music is delivered through Amazon CloudFront. These services receive your IP address when your browser connects to them, as any web service does.
